Mountain biking: fitness the fast way.

Break out your bicycle, helmet and stain-busting laundry detergent. Georgia State Park System offers some of the best off-road trails anywhere. Whether you’re hard core or looking for an introductory experience for your kids, you’ll find a park that suits your appetite for adventure, not mention exercise!

And if two wheels is your preferred form of fitness, check out the parks’ Muddy Spokes Club. Comprised of 11 scenic state parks and 68 miles of trails, he club is designed to get Georgians outside, exercising and having tons of fun! Members who visit all the parks qualify for a“mud-splattered” t-shirt and bragging rights.

To join, bikers of all skill levels buy a $10 membership card at any one of the 11 participating state parks in Georgia, call (770) 389-7401 or send an email to Anissa.Carter@gadnr.org. Sign up now!
